Oran Hotel - Istanbul

This hotel is great, and has great amenities like stable Wi-Fi, luggage storage, and a comfortable lounge area. I remember the staff helping me find my lost ring during my first stay. Always a pleasure to return for business trips!

A wide range of good food. Magnificent and perfect location short walk to tram and underground, the square of istanbul, and sightseeing and shopping, could not be better. Also, in the old Istanbul area.

it is a comfortable and cute property located in old city sultanahmet district short walk to the vezneciler metro station and many of the historical sights, and the grand bazar. very good service and the food is outstanding.

The bathrooms are very small.

The room was impeccably clean, with fresh towels and linens waiting for me upon arrival. I loved starting my mornings with a panoramic rooftop breakfast, where I enjoyed fine views over the city's iconic skyline. The really good personalized guest treatment, as the staff remembered my name and catered to my needs throughout my stay.

The Size of rooms no a/c some times it was very hot

the service offered was good, the room was big and elegant with exceptional newly renovated comfortable beds, sleeping sofas and a nice view.

The hotel is situated very close to the city centre.

I found the room size to be quite small. The bed mattress was uncomfortably hard, which affected my sleep quality. The breakfast selection was limited and repetitive.

I appreciated the staff,they were very friendly and helpful ,specially at the reception when I asked to print my airline booking ticket,i was introduced to the manager who gave me acces to his office and print my booknig.

Rooms are small,and the road near under construction which made hard for taxi to get in.

only location was fine.

1, bad attitude of staff 2. Asked for bed cot which was included in the package was never provided , I requested them three times and they always replied tomorrow. 3. Dont understand english when they are not interested . 4. when any thing finish during breakfast like bread, you may have to wait for 15 minutes as waiters over there do not understand english nor they understand when you show them empty bucket. In short staff requires some training to learn manners.

the staff were very helpful and polite to us. the service was excellent. the room looked 4-5 star, even though a bit on the small side.

internet connection in the room didn't work. no wifi either. i had to go down to the lobby to use their wifi.

This hotel cannot and should not be listed as a 4 star place. It was no where near the standard of a 4 star hotel. Enormously disappointed with the listing in Booked.net. I would never stay there again and would now be doubting any choices I make through Booked.net

The breakfast was appalling. The double bed rooms were unbelievably tiny. The shower-room was downright crazily small.

So clean and organized, such a well-maintained space.

Value for money

Be carefull!!! staff trying to reap you off!!!! Russian lady at the reception is rude, lying about prices! We booked that hotel threw Booked.net. First night we had no problems. Next day we went to the reception at 11.00 and ask for one more day to extend our stay. Staff at the reception told us: ok, you will get the same price as from booking! In the evening when we approached reception, there was Russian lady, which told us: sorry, we have to close your booking, and you will receive another price. We told her that it is unacceptable to change price in the evening after we discuss this matter in the morning. She told us- I do not know, I have to change a price. When we told here: you deal with us in Russian cheating way, she told us to leave hotel. Unbelievable!!!! There are 300 hotels around and after they try to reap you off, they ask you to leave hotel(((

Internet wireless is very poor and weak. Noisy guests, which the staff can't do nothing about it. Sorry, I didn't enjoy my stay at this hotel.
